Become a Volunteer

With even a small commitment of time, Circus Sarasota's "Roustabout" Volunteers play a critical role in preserving the tradition of circus in Sarasota County. Volunteering for our not-for-profit organization is an opportunity to share your enthusiasm for this exhilarating art form, while making a positive impact on your community. Benefits of being a "Roustabout" also include getting an inside look at circus life, opportunities to develop new skills, and meet new and exciting people, including international circus stars.

Positions of varying time commitments are available to adults and teens - from clerical to artistic, ushering to marketing, postering to fundraising and more! Most involve direct guest contact, so it is essential that you enjoy working with people. No particular skills, other than enthusiasm, reliability and flexibility, are required.
